About Tori Hunter...

Tori Hunter is an American screenwriter and film director who began her career as a script supervisor. Raised in a small town as a competitive, multi-sport athlete, she once imagined a future in coaching rather than filmmaking.

She spent the first two decades of her life playing year-round travel softball, living comeback stories long before she ever set out to tell them.  In her early twenties, Hunter discovered filmmaking and redirected her life toward storytelling, carrying with her a disciplined work ethic, resilience, and a deep understanding of collaboration.

 

After graduating from the University of Georgia, she spent more than half a decade script supervising a wide range of projects alongside notable actors and directors.  That experience culminated with her feature directorial debut in 2024 and continues to inform her directing expeditions today.
